So, while Lodge and Myers look for proof, Besant speaks more from faith and philosophy.<\/p>\n

    Besant talks a lot about reincarnation as part of the soul\u2019s journey, which was less common in Western books at the time. Lodge and Myers mostly focus on survival after death without always accepting reincarnation. This gives Besant\u2019s book a unique place, especially as she helped introduce these Eastern ideas to Western readers.<\/p>\n
